Grants of Assistance

BENEVOLENT FUND FOR MORMON WIDOWS AND ORPHANS

The 6th President ' the Mormon Church ' was Joseph Fielding Smith (1838-1918).  He once said about Mormons:

"When appeals are made to the Latter-day Saints  they are always willing to comply; ... and our people have learned through the commandments of God how to take care of themselves and are trying to help others to do likewise."

Try to keep this in mind that our members are trying to "take care of themselves"  AND  are trying to help others to do likewise. It is not possible for us to assist everyone.

You do not have to be a Mormon  or  a person of faith to become needy, widowed or orphaned. Our committment is to help all who we can even if that means  just helping to find help.

We are organized by  common bond, our  beliefs , and we  do not judge anyone according to their house of worship.
